Travel Insurance Reviews

I had travel insurence for over 6 months while traveling. During this time I had to make a claim the process was fairly easy and they paied out. Had more trouble when my camara needed fixing and I had to get a quote witch ment sending my camara off so I never got around to this (due to always being on the move) therefor the claim never went through. But the claims i submited where promptly assessed and paid accordingly. Love the fact you can pay a few extra dollars and have $0 excess. Am now back overseas and using them again.

We have used 1 cover travel insurance for many years and for many trips. This was the first time I have ever had to make a claim.
I found it easy to submit my claim and the response was very quick and the claim paid into my bank account within a couple of days of the approval.
I shall continue to use 1 cover for future insurance covers.

The application process was time-consuming and the cost of the policies almost doubled from the previous year due to our age I presume. (our health problems hadn't changed)
The small claim we put in on our return was handled quickly and efficiently.
Doubt whether we will take out travel insurance in the future due to the cost.

Everytime and everywhere we go there is only one travel insurance for me and my family. 1cover support and understand us their clients.

Although a small claim and straightforward it took a long time (2 months) to complete. I would reconsider bearing in mind there may be a larger claim some time when i would be wanting a quicker response.
Also there was no communication about the process or where the claim was held up by the company.
