While i didn't appreciate the constant reminder to take out any policy, It was in fact rather annoying. I didn't need to make a claim against the policy. What was a favorable point was the companies attitude. I am a senior (well over 70 years old) but I am not computer savvy. The check sheet to determine the level of risk was satisfactory to me personally. But some may object to the questions. Insurance companies like to minimise their rick factor. My travel companion is 20 years younger and had a similar policy as mine with a different company. At half the cost of my policy. That is something the industry needs to look at. Remember the population is ageing in chronological years but are usually competent health wise. Especially those who travel regularly

As our plane left late, we missed our next flight.to Dublin. plus train to Tullamore. Took a taxi there, had to stay in a hotel. In Tullamore next morning took a taxi to our stay for 7 days. 1Cover all they could say, why was the plane delayed? I did not know why. I have told our travel agent, "no 1Cover again. Never''. We have used you many times and never had a claim.

We got caught out in the Air NZ change of planes. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled, as the aircraft had been replaced and then a decision was made to keep the replacement plane grounded. This meant we lost a day in travel, a day in accommodation and other losses related to trip being postponed. We put in a claim and it was rejected. Read the small print in your travel insurance. Your probably not covered should your airline cancel your flight.

In my dealings with this company I have always found their service to be extremely professional and reliable. Additionally their premiums are, in my experience, extremely competitive and great value for money. Unfortunately circumstances required me to make a claim on the very first occasion I used this firm and I'm pleased to say they settled my claim extremely quickly, efficiently and without contesting unnecessarily the validity of the claim. I thoroughly recommend 1Cover Travel Insurance to anybody undertaking both domestic and international travel. This recommendation is given exclusively based on my experiences with the company.

Have always purchased 1Cover for our trips and have never made a claim. The one time we really did require your help after a family death, you managed to find the loophole. Well played 1Cover!

Recently I had an injury while in Australia. I contacted 1Cover and immediately they were there to support me through the whole process, including a phone call on my arrival home to see how the I was after my flights. I hold them in high regard. They could not have been more helpful and supportive, which was great as I was travelling on my own. Expensive basic cover compared with alternative providers for America. Incorrect info given about policy cover when emergency cover required.

Always use 1cover travel insurance. Quotes are well priced, very easy website to navigate. Haven't had personal experience claiming but my brother has and it was seamless.

Thankfully we didn't need to use our insurance but we had peace of mind knowing we were covered for any mishaps.

This is the second time my wife and I have taken your insurance and never had to claim. We can only speak of our experience with your customer service which was excellent.

Asked for documents/evidence of theft that was impossible to collect. Eventually paid after causing me undue stress and concern, after already going through the trauma of being robbed.
Genuinely feels like you try add enough stress to the whole process in the hopes that people get tired of it and give up.
Money took nearly 3 weeks to process even though you promise 5-7 working days.
Will never use 1cover again.

Wasn’t required this trip but always good to have the peace of mind that goes with a 1Cover policy.
