We've used 1Cover several times following a recommendation from others. They have been competitively priced and very helpful with claims.

The price and experience purchasing it weren't bad, although it wasn't till I got overseas and needed to contact 1 Cover that I realised that there's no toll free number from where I was, and there was no online support. Clause says for hospitalisation insurance must be contacted first. Not being able to contact them defeats the purpose of having an international travel insurance. For this reason I wouldn't use it again.

Always use 1cover for International Travel.
Never had to use it use it but good to know its tried and proven by many travelers.

It was a simple and straightforward exercise to purchase 1Cover travel insurance online and we felt very confident with the policy cover. My husband has an existing medical condition and it was no trouble to cover for this for very little extra cost. This is the second time we have purchased travel insurance with this company and we will certainly do so again for our next trip away.

They stayed in constant contact with me throughout the experience of having to be taken to hospital which was a little scary when you're away from home. The only thing I would say is that you had to explain the situation to various different people so it may pay for the first person you talk to via email to make some notes for the next. But this was a very easy and caring company to deal with in the midst of a bad situation. They even phoned me when back in NZ to see how I was feeling, a nice touch.

The one time that I had to claim was hassle free. Dealing with the customer service people was straight forward & claim accepted within a few days

The amount claimable per item was unclear. Buried in fine print. I suffered huge loss due to not specifying.

We have used ! Cover for our recent holidays, and have found them very fairly priced for the amount of countries we visit.
Have never had to make a claim, but we felt very secure in the fact that we had good insurance cover.

I have never had to claim but it is great peace of mind to know that you are there if we need you.I have always found your website easy to use and no problems with any bookings.I use you to cover the pesky car insurance rip off that we usually get when traveling. This could be a good selling point as no-one likes to pay an exorbitant amount per day to get the 0 excess per day. Thanks again
