I have used 1Cover for many years and always find them helpful and always good communication. Luckily never had to use their clams

We missed a flight from LA to NZ - delayed for 2 days!
Obviously lots of added costs involved, I must say that I was not impressed with the way a young lady at 1 cover handled my first call. The call did nothing to put my mind at ease and she informed me that it did not sound like we had anything we could claim for under our insurance and that we should basically tough it out.
I also found it difficult to find out what we were entitled to after the issues arose, I felt that the company clammed up a bit and that we were a bit of a hassle.

I choose 1Cover Insurance everytime I go overseas and have been satisfied every time. Their web site is so easy to follow.

This company responded positively and rapidly to my claim. I am very relieved and happy, and will recommend them to other travellers. Also, as I actually purchased a year's worth of travel insurance from them, I also now feel very confident about them covering me well for the rest of this time (which of course I hope will not be required!).

Very efficient and quick. Customer friendly. We have had once incident of claim and it’s been handled well. Full marks, we have always used 1Cover and will always use them . Highly recommend.

We had no problems when taking out the policy and when querying a possible claim they were very helpful in the process required.

Have used these guys frequently, and fortunately never had a claim. However my experience was somewhat soured recently, when we were due to travel to Bali.
When I called to enquire re cover, was informed in no uncertain terms that we would not be covered due to volcano activity for any delays etc, even though I had purchased back in February. When asked why was advised that we should have known and that it was on their website. Interesting that I now note it is obvious, under travel alerts, "Mount Agung,Bali". At the time I purchased, no sign of that, yes maybe if I had gone looking on the site, I might have found it. Interesting that after ringing, and making my feelings very clear, it is now obvious. I believe that when anyone applying for a destination, they should be told up front, if there are exclusions for that destination, it wouldn't be difficult!
Luckily, no disruptions, but not happy with the lack of clarity as to extent of cover!
The industry I work in, we have to be very clear about hidden issues not obvious to inexperienced persons, perhaps 1Cover, and the industry in general might like to consider similar?

My husband and I used 1Cover Travel Insurance on our recent trip to Australia. Unfortunately I injured myself when I fell down some stairs but claiming with 1Cover was so easy and quick. We would definitely use them again.

Our son, Harley, died suddenly while my wife and i were in Slovenia, at the start of a month long holiday. Harley was in Phuket at the time of his death, which complicated matters. 1Cover could not have been more helpful or understanding. They have enabled us to go through this whole process with minimum stress. We have had extraordinary help from everyone in the claims team whenever we have had to phone or email. We are planing to travel to Europe and Africa next year and will have NO hesitation in booking our travel insurance with 1Cover. Thank you again for all your help.

I found their online process very easy to formulate a policy. Their efficiency & speed to sort out claims should be a benchmark for the travel industry.

1Cover met our insurance needs for UK/Europe. Covered motorbikes which was good. (Not used though, but reassuring to have it). Far better prices for cover for minor controlled asthma than my previous regular travel insurance company hence the switch. When overseas I called to query a change. Fast and excellent service. Thankfully no need for any claims.
