Found purchasing insurance quick and easy; staff were extremely helpful, over the phone, in giving me quotes for extras I might've needed on my recent overseas trip.
Didn't require a claim so have no idea of that side of the insurance company.

Paid money for insurance, went overseas, felt safe knowing I was covered, didn’t need to claim anything so pretty neutral. But the online process was easy to understand for a first time user and had no real issues.

I haven't ever had to make a claim before, I wasn't holding out for a good experience but Zoom was fantastic!. The process was straight forward, expectations clear and it was processed in a couple of days. Amazing. A pleasure. Will use them again.

We were travelling to Hawaii, and we had cover to make sure we were covered for unforeseen circumstances and travel delays. This was the best Deal by far for our family.

During May of this year, whilst on an organised tour of Israel, my wife Margaret developed a serious case of pneumonia and had to be hospitalised in Jerusalem. We felt really out on a limb as there was relatively little English spoken at the hospital and the up-front costs of hospital admission and ongoing care were quite daunting. Before leaving New Zealand we had the good fortune to take out travel insurance with TINZ and with hindsight we can honestly say it was one of the best moves we have ever made. From the moment we first notified TINZ of our predicament, they gave us assurance that they were able and willing to deal with our situation and kept in constant contact with us by email and telephone.

I would like to make special mention here of our case managers at the Travel Claims Emergency Operations Centre. They dealt with our situation extremely professionally but at the same time retaining that human touch that is so often absent in big business. There were various aspects of our dilemma that required constant re-arrangement, especially those regarding hotel bookings and our Case Managers dealt with these seamlessly, keeping us informed at every stage. Margaret was in hospital for about 3 weeks at the end of which TINZ arranged for her to be repatriated to New Zealand with a nurse escort. They arranged all flights and itineraries and made the return home as comfortable as possible. The accompanying nurse, an Israeli, was extremely experienced and efficient and arranged wheelchair and motorised transport assistance at every airport.Prior to travelling, we advised TINZ of our existing medical conditions and history and paid the extra premium requested. Had we not done so, we would have been in all sorts of trouble and would strongly urge readers of this review to disclose all medical matters in advance. Margaret’s ongoing recovery is now nearing completion and we are thankful to TINZ for the professional manner in which they exercised their duty of care over us. We shall always be grateful to our case managers for looking after us across the miles at a time when our morale was very low and our future very uncertain. Needless to say we have no hesitation in recommending TINZ – indeed we have already done so to all our friends and family.

We have used 1Cover twice now for our overseas trips. Last year we went to USA and needed travel insurance to cover us on a motor cycle over 250cc and after trying several other insurance companies, 1Cover were the only one to cover us. Both my husband and I have pre medical and we answered the questions online and then they sent the papers through so we could sign them. This year we went to Rarotonga and once again the procedure and price was the cheapest.. I would give this company 5 stars for price, easy to deal with and customer service was top rate. I would recommend 1Cover to anyone...

We have used One Cover a number of times on our travels, our last trip to Thailand was the first time we have claimed. One Cover made the process painless and claim was processed really quickly.

Competitive rates compared to several other companies for similar cover, and super easy to arrange with a phone call.

They were happy to take my money but would not give medical cover as I had a medical problem 5 1/2 years ago with no recurrence since then

In June I advised 1Cover Travel Insurance that I needed urgent surgery for a hernia.
After some correspondence I had the surgery which was successful. Through out the staff from 1Cover were very,very helpful. They made me feel that I was not alone. Payment was very prompt. I can never thank them enough.
I would recommend them to anyone requiring Travel Insurance.
