Great service. Both my husband and I have had cancer and we were given the option of taking this out of the policy and keeping the premiums the same or including it for a small increase. It was quick and simple. We appreciated the reminder to renew our insurance if we were prolonging our holiday, something that has happened in the past. Thankfully we did not need to claim for anything this time but I am sure that too would have been quick and easy.

Easy to apply, cost effective and ongoing communication during the holiday, ie a reminder that if we were extending the holiday, we could extend the cover. Would recommend and use again.

I thought the process of arranging insurance was pretty slick and fairly-priced. It was well-organised and simple. Great! or so I thought. When I came to try and make a claim, I found to my horror that medical costs in NZ are NOT covered, "because it's a domestic policy." Hello? I booked a NZ snow holiday with appropriate, additional snow insurance. TINZ happily took the extra money, but at no time was it made clear that this wouldn't include medical cover! Seriously unimpressed.
I also wanted to make a claim for an item that had been lost, but was told I would need written evidence that I'd spoken to the hotel about the loss. Like we would have such a thing!
Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere, next time I need travel / holiday insurance. And I'll be checking the policy details, a lot more closely.

The team took the worry of flight changes and costs out of the picture so that I could relax and spent the time getting better and not fretting!

I have used 1Cover for many years and always find them helpful and always good communication. Luckily never had to use their clams

We missed a flight from LA to NZ - delayed for 2 days!
Obviously lots of added costs involved, I must say that I was not impressed with the way a young lady at 1 cover handled my first call. The call did nothing to put my mind at ease and she informed me that it did not sound like we had anything we could claim for under our insurance and that we should basically tough it out.
I also found it difficult to find out what we were entitled to after the issues arose, I felt that the company clammed up a bit and that we were a bit of a hassle.

I choose 1Cover Insurance everytime I go overseas and have been satisfied every time. Their web site is so easy to follow.

Could not fault the communication levels. Did not have to use the insurance policy, but felt good knowing it was there.

This company responded positively and rapidly to my claim. I am very relieved and happy, and will recommend them to other travellers. Also, as I actually purchased a year's worth of travel insurance from them, I also now feel very confident about them covering me well for the rest of this time (which of course I hope will not be required!).

I was unable to go on my holiday. 1Cover were amazing and I was reimbursed within 3 days. I would have no hesitation to recommend this Company to any of my friends
