I always use 1cover for all trips and they have always been great value and easy to deal with. I had to make my first claim recently and the process was quick easy and paid out within a week.

The online application was effortless, the cover was ample (signed up for the ski package add on) and the premium compared well against the competition.
Thankfully I did not need to experience the claims process!

I didn't need to claim and so can't comment there but buying it was very easy and no fuss.

1cover covered all my hospital admission bills. They didn’t take into account the currency conversion fees, but still an easy process.

Expensive for a short period of cover incomparison to cover for longer periods. Probably similar to other company's charges. Staff good to deal with and very helpful.

Still within the 5-7 working days advised so sending me a review form is rather premature. Send these AFTER all is completed...

My wife injured her leg on the Great Wall of China. She put up with the pain for a few days but as it gradually got worse I took her to hospital. After an X-Ray and MRI she was released in a full leg caste. She contacted 1 Cover to let them know what had happened, not for one moment did we expect such excellent care. The service they provided was brilliant, from translating the Chinese written reports into English, keeping in constant contact via email and phone calls and to organizing an upgraded flight for us on our return journey to NZ. Our customer care person even phoned the day we arrived home to make sure we'd arrived home safely - service like that goes a long way.I can't praise them enough for the service that they provided and the care that they provided to my wife. I would 100% use them again on our next adventure.Thank you 1 Cover.

Just filled in the online claim form and attached the appropriate files.
Received an email about the claim about a week later.
They automatically took the excess from the claim so didn't have to make a separate payment.
The claim amount wasn't big (Under $200) so this might be why there weren't any delays.

The claim has been finally processed but the money has not been remitted yet. 1 cover is slower compared to other providers I've used overseas
