Zoom Travel Insurance Review

The process to get the insurance was simple, quick and painless.<br/>Zoom was the cheapest we found for where we were going.

We Used Zoom insurance for the first time. Was easy and a reasonable rate. We will use again in the future.

Everything was great online, quick and easy, price and conditions were fine. But... on sending me a confirmation email for our trip to Thailand, the email had a backing picture of some people sitting on an elephant trekking through a river. Elephants are terribly ill treated to get to the point of carrying people on their back (among other things, they are treated cruelly to get to this point, it is bad for their back and they get terrible sores from the 'seat'). I sent an email explaining this to Zoom and asked them to replace the photo with something else Thai (temples, Thai boats on a canal etc). Any steps to discourage people from riding elephants is a positive step. To Zoom's credit, they have now changed the photo. Well done Zoom, great service and a good corporate citizen. Please folks, go see elephants in a proper sanctuary, where they are free to roam and are properly treated

Good to know you covered when travelling abroad. Not having to worry about the what ifs, and be able to relax knowing that if the unexpected happens you be sorted with a quick phone call.

Claiming insurance was hassle free, quick and easy with Zoom insurance. We had to cancel our trip due to a family emergency and they were very helpful and easy to deal with - specially in comparison to the insurance companies our other family member booked though. Highly recommend.

We had to claim while travelling through Europe recently, however, Zoom looked after us exceptionally well. Would highly recommend for your next trip.

We had luggage go missing for 5 days. Zoom replied very quickly, compensated us with no questions answered even after I added on a claim about the suitcase being damaged. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely use them again. Thanks Zoom

Great experience when dealing with Zoom, quick response and good customer experience. They went beyond my expectations. I would recommend using them and are sharply priced.

Very hard to get hold of with only a NZ number, ended up with multiple points of contact through phone line mishandling. More money spent with other insurance would of covered the toll calls. Advice offered also contradicted that of the Embassy based in the country of incident. Would use again, but not for further travel far abroad

Zoom accepted our claim even though we couldn’t satisfy all the information requirements. We will be spreading the word about how good Zoom is to deal with!

Unfortunately I did end up having to use my travel insurance while overseas. However the ZOOM claim process was simple, straight forward and more importantly I had a response and approval the same day! <br/>I accidentally made a small error on my form in which they emailed me immediately and helped me resolve the issue. <br/>Such great value for money! Simple claims process & fast responses & excellent customer service! <br/>I will be recommending ZOOM to everyone I know!
