Thank God we didn't have to use it, but it was an easy experience buying it as they offer a good coverage with a good value for our money.

As regular travelling senior citizens, we find the Zoom Travel Insurance to be of very good value for money and is the perfect coverage for us.

They were really good. I broke my laptop and they stayed with me every step of the way. The claim process was simple and they were supportive.
5 out of 5 for Rhys.

I was had a fall and was injured and went to hospital to get stitches on my first day away. Following this, i had to get stitches removed, and returned to the same hospital. In between, i had a severe allergic reaction to the medication provided as a result of my injury and went to a second hospital which was private and i was advised that they would be better than the public hospital. Following this, I had to undergo chiropractic services (from a reliable supplier) to address issues stemming from the fall.
I sent all the relevant information to Zoom, including hospital receipts, notes from doctors, the whole lot. My excess was $200 and I probably raked up $300 in hospital bills alone (not including medication, etc). To make a long story short, they might as well have danced on my grave. Zoom tried to dissect my hospital visits saying that they weren't related at all (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) due to the 2nd visit being in a different hospital and therefore the bills would sit below the excess amount, meaning I would not get paid for them as my 1st and 3rd visits were under $200. Without boring readers with the fact that my brand new shoes were stolen whilst away - no surprise that they would not pay for that, either though this was due to my not knowing the requirements... for this part, please do yourself a favour and ensure that a) you get a police report if something gets stolen. For the rest, b) I can certainly say from experience that this is by far the worst insurance provider you will ever use in your travels. They will certainly prey on your spirits through multiple calls, emails and time wasting with no real resolution if you actually require insurance. I was on this merry go round for a month before they dished out 'no's' all around.

It's by far the worst travel insurance I had. They try absolutely every trick in the book to not pay a claim, even if the claim is straightforward. Eben if you can proof your claim, they still try everything. And to be sure their complaints department is everything but independent.
Got questions?
The more the merrier right? Zoom's insures groups of up to 25. That means more fun for less hassle.
No, not automatically. You must purchase their cruise pack in order to be covered for any medical treatment you receive on board and for helicopter evacuation should you require emergency medical assistance.

I hadn't heard of zoom prior to going to Bali, but took the risk, and wasn't let down. So easy to deal to when we had to call a dr in. They also followed up the next day to make sure my daughter was ok and if there was any thing else we needed!!!!
