Hundreds of activities are automatically covered as standard rather than needing to be added on, plus they offer cover for casual work like bartending, farm work or activity guiding if you’re on a working holiday. There's also a free “home visit” feature, which lets you return home once during your trip and then pick back up where you left off without your policy lapsing. Premiums can run higher than more budget-focused insurers though, so it’s worth shopping around if price is your main priority.
