TINZ Travel Insurance Review

TINZ was great to deal with. After our trip being cancelled due to a cyclone, i had a nightmare trying to communicate with all the different entities (flights, accom, transfers, tours etc). One phone call to TINZ was all it took to confirm i would be entitled to a refund, then lodged the claim online in which they replied with all the info they required and once submitting that it was awarded within a couple of days with no questions asked. awesome experience & took so much pressure off the situation.

Thankfully I didn't need to use to claim for anything so I can't comment on that process, however I have used TINZ a few times now and will continue to do so. They are great value for my needs and communication and documentation is excellent.

Really appreciate quick response during the hard time we had. Also need to mention about fast and easy claim approvel.

My family and I had a really great experience with TINZ. During our travels, my daughter was hospitalised for 1 week, my two sons got some sort of skin reactions from mosquito bites and needed treatment. I was also rushed to hospital for treatment for suspected Dengue fever - throughout TINZ were fantastic! Excellent service, communication was good and claims were approved relatively quickly. We had one little delay due to investigations and differing of opinions but managed to sort out the next day. TINZ kept in touch to ensure we were supported well throughout. I highly recommend and we would definitely go with TINZ in any future travels

Hi ,<br/>I Travel insurance New zealand was a great company to insure with just in case it was needed. Luckily we did not have any issues so did not need to make a claim on anything. I will probably use TINZ again next we travel.

As an older woman I travelled with confidence knowing in the event of an unfortunate medical, terror, accident or flight changes I would be assisted by TINZ comprehensive insurance. I am glad it was unnecessary to test the efficiency of TINZ.

Experience in obtaining insurance was easy and price was good. Fortunately I haven't required to go through the claim process.

Easy to receive and accept quote for travel.Being elderly was reassuring to know that we were insured for any mishaps.

I had travel to USA, Australia and Japan. All covered by TINZ policy. Made travel planning so easy. All existing illnesses etc covered and documented which made a huge difference for peace of mind. Didn't need to make a claim so can't comment on that.

Have used TINZ twice now and both times the experience of choosing the correct policy was easy and foolproof. In my case the cost of the policy was lower than for other well known companies whilst the benefits were similar or better.

I always choose TINZ when I travel overseas. I was accidently sick and admitted in ED when I traveled a country a couple of years ago. TINZ was very helpful and I was treated well by medical team and claim was easy and quick. I feel safe when I travel everywhere with TINZ.
