Allianz is a well-known name and offers travel insurance on a pick-and-choose basis; you can add Cruise, Snow or Adventure cover depending on what your trip actually involves, rather than paying for things you don’t need. Worth knowing though: overseas medical cover is capped at $20 million rather than unlimited, and both the Adventure and Snow Packs add a non-removable $500 excess on top of your regular excess for related claims.
