TINZ is a New Zealand specialist travel insurer and there are a few things about their cover which set them apart: cruise cover is included as standard at no extra cost, cover can be extended up to 18 months (well above the industry norm), and dependants under 19 travel free. Just be mindful that claims response times are a little slower compared to competitors.

Easy insurance
This is the first time i have used TINZ. The ease of applying online was great. It was all so quick and simple which was a big plus.<br/>I did not have to claim and appreciated the email when i got home informing me how to claim if need be.<br/>Definitely i would use this company again.<br/>Regards<br/>Olwyn

Didn't need to make a claim but the easiest insurance ever!!
Love this insurance as it was the most affordable with all the cover I needed and then some! Easiest insurance to apply for and I felt secure on my trip! Thankyou for the welcome back email and asking if I needed to make a claim. Recommend to all and will definetly use you again! A++++++

Best Ever
I had to,unfortunately,cancel our trip to Australia & filed a claim for cancelled flight tickets. Guess what,<br/>my claim was settled & entire claimed amount was refunded to my bank account within two working days. No Questions,no clarifications & it was done:). Moreover,at time of choosing my travel insurance, their premium was most competitive. Kudos to TINZ & would definitely insure with them again & have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Value for money
Easy, hassle free application. excellent customer service when applying for existing medical coverage. purchased 5 x policies for family ranging from 4 years to 53 years and after shopping around definitely best value for money with excellent coverage. luckily we did not have to make a claim. would recommend and use again. thanks TINZ

I've used TINZ on a previous occasion and needs to make a claim. You guys were very obliging and considerate and the claim was settled without any hassles. Easy as
The most comprehensive/competetive cover for the price. Really easy and fast to sign up online. Even so; when you book online you always have that nagging feeling in the back of your head, "am I really covered" but on the day I got back I received a TINZ email welcoming me back and a one click link in case I needed to make a claim. Excellent!

Cheap and Easy insurance
No claim made,but easy reliable experience and policy a lot cheaper than others I looked at. Would use again!
though I would have been more impressed if you had accepted my praise - and advice that I had returned to NZ about a month early! and not asked twice since!
