I didn't end up having to make a claim, however, I almost needed to visit a hospital in the USA. I emailed the overseas email address and they got back to me quickly with information. They were also prompt to give advice on what to do.<br/><br/>The value for money is outstanding and much cheaper then other competitors. They were also helpful when I needed to update my policy to extend it by three months. This was easily done over the phone.

The cost of my 1Cover insurance for the cover provided is always good. Apart from purchase Ihave had no other interaction has no claim has been made. I do recommend 1Cover to others.

Had a flight cancellation. So our trip had to be extended by a day. I called to make sure the coverage would keep us insured for that extra day. we had to the extend the policy and figured we would go about claiming on extra expenses when we got back home. <br/>However were told if we extend the policy we can not make any claims for before that date. So we could either claim for our extra expenses incurred ( additional hotels etc) or have the coverage extended. We were more concerned of being covered in case of a medical emergency so went with that. Disappointing as you would think any time you have a cancellation you likely would have to extend the policy and also have to make claims.

Didn't need to claim ,all good that is what insurance is about ,peace of mind ! had to extend period by one day ,no problem and no extra cost.
