1Cover Travel Insurance Review

We cannot go on holiday without insurance and this must must be a good company because it is always our first port of call. We won't leave home without it

Have used 1cover for many years now and have not had any issues with them. Even when our trip was cancelled due to storm a couple of years ago. They paid me back within a few days

On two different trips this year we have had to make claims on our travel insurance. 1Cover have been absolutely awesome, excellent customer service, prompt replies and no issues with the claims being accepted. Money in our account within 5 days. Definitely the best travel insurance we have ever had and at a reasonable price. Can't recommend them enough

Had to make a claim due to an airline strike. Claim was settled quickly, in full, with very good communications.

Easiest online travel cover I’ve found.<br/>Haven’t had to make a claim so can’t comment on ease of receiving payouts.<br/>Would use again next time travelling overseas.<br/>

We had a gold neckless and pendent lost/stolen from our hotel room. It was purchased in the mid 1980's so have no receipt,(only photos) On phoning your claims department I was told that without a receipt it was probably no point in putting in a claim.

My husband and I got upgraded for the home flight. Took them quite awhile to let me know whether it was going to be done. Was quite stressful being unsure as it would have been too late to arrange it ourselves.

Simple process to compare and select appropriate insurance cover; only a few minutes to complete the data entry. We had a lovely holiday and didn't need to claim, so I can't speak about how that works.

I travelled recently with my daughter and her young children to Europe. When we got stuck in Singapore for a week because the child was too sick to fly all the way to Europe, my 1 Cover insurance covered my costs even though all the receipts were in my daughter’s name and she was covered with a different insurer!

Organising this was quick and efficient. <br/><br/>Cover included excess for car hire, so that saved us quite a lot of money.<br/><br/>My only complaint is that I had to pay extra for cover for breast cancer that I had 9 years ago. There is no sign of it now, so surely I should have been able to exclude it.
