We have had the multi-trip international coverage for several years and once required emergency medical treatment in the USA after an accident with a plate glass window. The claim process was simple and efficient. We had zero hassles. Highly recommended.

Hello, I recently travelled to the UK and Europe. Just after I arrived there was a large scale terrorist attack in Manchester then the day I was due in London there was another attack in the area I was staying in. Due to these reasons I changed my travel arrangements to return from trip early, as local authorities were advising another major attack was imminent and didn't feel safe remaining in London. This cost several hundred dollars. 1/cover does not cover me for this. With the situation as it is in today's world with occurrences such as this, I find that pretty unreasonable. In future I will choose cover with an insurer who will protect me from this type of thing.

We decided we would give 1Cover another, notwithstanding our poor experience with creative dismissal of a claim in a previous trip.

I was confused by the "return date". I put the date in which I fly out of America to return home, with was a Friday night. I got an email the day before (Friday morning NZT) saying that my insurance is finished.
Return date should say that that is the date in which you are back in NZ - maybe it did and I didn't read it right.
But I was without cover for the last day, and then the 2 days lost in travel on the way home.

On arrival home, my wife thought she had lost a hearing aid, she emailed 1cover, got an immediate
response. luckily she found the item which she had mislaid. response from 1cover was positive. I would use them again for cover, no problem. thankyou.

I had to do Pre Existing Condition and this did take a little while as sent it back but it got mislaid all was sorted fine .
