the reason why I have rated 1 cover an 8 in customer experience, is that it was good to see that I had not been forgotten and was welcomed back from my overseas trip by email, to me its good customer service, value for money for what I signed up for yes, as regards claim experience thank god everything went ok, I haven't yet to make a claim, but it's knowing its peace of mind that you will be covered.would definitely use 1 cover again.

As a customer traveling to a new country like China, Kiribati and Tuvalu this year, anything could have happened to me in terms of getting sick etc, but I was always happy because 1Cover is always there to look after me with a reasonable premium compared to the risks involved, hence value for money. So far I haven't had a claim with 1Cover so I cannot comment, but I know because I have been honest with them, they will respond favorably when the need arises. Thank you to the 1Cover Team. Love that my pre-existing conditions are covered at no extra cost. They also came out cheaper then all the others I compared and didn't have to pay upwards of $75 to cover pre-existing conditions.

Easy to purchase with no hassles. Comprehensive cover at a reasonable price. Didn't need to claim so can't comment on that process.

Great value for money, and the made sure all of our cruise bases were covered whilst travelling in both Australia and New Zealand.

Now that I've actually had to file a claim on my policy, I can report that 1Cover provides an excellent service. Easy to reach, fast, friendly service and prompt payment. My only minor gripe is I wish that they'd paid the benefit at the same (documented) exchange rate I'd had to pay at the time I purchased the covered service.

Very quick to purchase travel insurance online. I had to reduce the number of days as my travel plans changed, so they refunded the first purchase and then I made a second purchase. Was no hassle and they made the switch easy. Didn't need to claim.

Luckily this time I did not have to claim, but I just wanted to say last time when unfortunately I did, you guys were just fantastic! Dealing with American hospitals was not an easy task.

we claimed for a damaged item and were paid out, however we obviously didnt read the fine print/conditions as there was depreciation on the goods (as to be expected) but no disclosure as to how it was worked out. Its at their discretion, then to top it off a $100 was excess taken off. Obviously we were disappointed as the total payout was 1/5th of the item cost. We didn't expect full cover but the cost of our insurance in the first place was really expensive. Not sure it was worth it actually. So be careful what you pay for!

Dealing with a throat abscess in isolated Canada- 1cover supported me through 2 medical flights, 3 nights in hospital, CAT scan, and recovery accommodation. One point of contact at 1cover helped make a challenging situation more tolerable. All bills and reimbursements made promptly. Couldn't have asked for more.

I referred a friend to 1Cover after purchasing travel insurance for a cruise as they had a promotion on to get a $20 voucher if you refer a friend. I paid just over $40. My friend paid just over $60 for the exact same cover then 1Cover refused to honor the $20 voucher so they essentially made an extra $20 off of the whole transaction. I feel really bad for my friend, who ended up paying $20 extra simply because she used my link.
