We have just had a holiday free of the stress of what would happen should a Medical Condition occur. Unlike other companies you treated our application on its merits which we appreciate. Believe it or not nobody on holiday wants to be in the situation their holiday is spoiled by an event. Will be back to you next year. Thanks

Great to deal with especially with pre existing coverage as all other company's cut you short at application stage without you stating your individual case ie mention heart attack and diabetes together and they all run for the hills however TINZ listened evaluated looked at all information supplied and bingo I was covered what a relief to be able to travel worry free

We didnt need to make a claim but the comfort in knowing that we had good cover for a very good price made us very happy with the whole travel insurance experience.
Will look you up for our next overseas holiday.

I had to submit a claim after Lufthansa lost my baggage whilst on route to Germany.
My claim was handled very well upon my return and was paid out relatively quickly.
There was only one small observation which I would like to point out! I immediately contacted TINZ about my missing bag. However, the call which I had to make from my mobile whilst in Germany cost me $48 for an 11 minute call! I thought at the time that it was a free phone number but found out from my recent mobile phone bill that it was not! The infuriating thing was, that. I was placed on "Hold" for a considerable time before I was given approval to make purchases for additional clothing etc.

saw doctor on ship had full ecg and blood tests
doctor said eat more bananas gave me results which i summited insurance said no cause from doctor so no pay out terrible!!

This is my first experience with lodging a claim with 1Cover. Very happy with the outcome. Thank you very much

I had to make a claim and the whole.process was absolutely terrible and very stressful. There was a huge lack of communication and I'm very unhappy with the service I got. Will never use you or recommend you again.

I am happy with the out come I'm just not happy with the process.
No one would keep me.informed in what was happening. No one emailed back either when I kept asking. It was just shocking and it took about 2 months to finalize it

My claim was handled quickly and fairly. At first I was told no excess would apply to my particular circumstances (they volunteered this) but when the claim was settled the excess had been deducted. When I questioned this I was told 1Cover had made a mistake and the excess should/would apply. I accepted this but later they contacted me to say they would honour the original communication and refunded me the excess. Naturally I was pleased and now feel I will purchase travel insurance with them again, I thought that was a decent thing for them to do.

Although some effort was required gathering the information together to make the claim, this problem lay with the airlines who were most unhelpful to say the least. Your online communications were clear and the claims officer who did speak to me directly was direct, clear and very helpful. Although I was unable to recover all losses, 1 cover did reimburse a significant component. Thanks
