I extended my policy by a day but the online process looked like it was about to rebill the original cost not the extension cost so I resorted to phoning the call centre

If you are unfortunate enough to make a claim it is usually settled immediately without question. Such a good service. Have used them for the last 7 years.

My claim, both when I was overseas and when I returned home was an excellent experience, handled efficiently and without delay, all completed within 7 days. Thank you

Online sign up easy to access, clearly describing each option available. No fuss insurance cover -thankfully I didnt need to use it.

I am fortunate in that I have never had to lodge a claim but have taken travel insurance out with 1Cover many times over the years and they have been extremely helpful

Great customer service after speaking with a representative (Aaron) about renewing my insurance who tried to help me as best he could.
Unfortunately I was late renewing my policy by 1 day and so I had to change it to an Already Overseas even after I had spent a large sum of money on a years travel insurance with no claims. Doesn’t seem very fair as it means my excess is more and my policy was more expensive by over $100.

I'm glad you found our customer service representative to be helpful and informative, I will certainly be passing on the feedback.

We are unable to extend policies beyond 12 months as this is the maximum duration that we offer. We provide the Already Overseas policy for those travellers who may have forgotten to take out insurance before they travelled or for those who decide to stay longer beyond the initial year.

Fortunately we never had to claim, so we can't really comment except to say that 1 cover is easy to use at a good price.
