I never needed to use it but it's was great knowing I was fully covered and the amount I spent certainly didn't put a dent in my wallet.

I didn't have to claim for anything. Applied the day before my flight. Too easy. I highly recommend TINZ to my friends and family.

Best buy as far as benefits versus cost is concerned. No knowledge of how good claims procedure would be.

I found by comparing other NZ based travel insurance policies that TINZ was the best value for money. I liked the online application good but was frustrated with 2 things. 1 - I didn't have the option to discuss my pre existing injuries to a real person, instead I had to fill in and e-mail a form before I was accepted for cover. 2 - I had to e-mail TINZ the day before my travel because they had not yet issued my (and my partner) with the insurance certificate.
Otherwise, I think the cost compared to the cover benefits is fair and reasonable and their website is easy to use.
Thankfully, I had no reason to use it :-)

As per our policy guidelines, we require all travellers with any pre-existing medical conditions (that is not automatically covered) to submit a medical disclosure form. We are always more than happy to discuss any questions you may have regarding this, but we will still require you to submit a medical disclosure form prior to offering cover. I was looking for travel insurance after looking at different Companies I rang TINZ as I had tried to purchase a policy online. The help I received was great, they listened helped and supported me to purchase the policy at a better price. Thank you I had peace of mind as I travelled to India.

A few months ago, I was shopping for travel insurance for my husband's business trip. We ended up going with TINZ for the best coverage and price. Little did we know, we were automatically put in a draw to win a free trip to see All Blacks! (Yes, magic exists on earth!) Until we got a call from a lovely lady Natalie from TINZ to let us know we were lucky winners. Thanks TINZ for such a wonderful gift! We had an excellent experience with TINZ. Straight-forward policy wording so we are aware of exactly what we're covered for, the pricing was good value for the extensive cover world-wide, and our claim was handled efficiently with TINZ honoring their policy with no issues. The experience was the best we have had with a travel insurance provider, and we would recommend TINZ without question.

We didn't put in a claim but from the moment I made the decision to you TINZ their customer service and welcome home e-mail showed they would be happy to help with any claim I may have had. I will use them again for my next holiday for sure.

Not having a claim takes away contention, but the experience with insuring me will bring me back, and here I must include the reminder on termination of the policy.
