always advise of current injuries, even though u think they are nothing at the time. for us a sore neck/shoulder/back turned out to be a blown disc and it wasn't diagnosed til way after the purchase of our policy, after phoning to see if it was covered we were advised no as it was preexisting! but also they wouldn't actually decide until after we ACTUALLY cancelled! lesson learnt.

While holidaying in Mexico I had my handbag stolen complete with passport, credit cards, money, phone and bracelet. I rang 1 cover straight away as I was desperate for help. The guy I spoke to said he didn't believe something could be stolen while someone was right there. Where has he been? He offered no help. A bit daunting when you are stuck in a foreign country with no money or passport. Not impressed. Let's see what happens when I put in a claim.

I was travelling to the States and had to find an insurance cover. It was easy to get it done on line. Instructions were clear and you could call someone to help you fill it out and get a clearer picture of what you're paying for. I didn't have to use it but knowing I was cover made me feel safer. I recommend Cover 1 and will use it again.

I have been through the experience of a claim, it took a while through no fault of 1cover. The problem one is loss of cash, for instance I am carrying USD, Swiss francs and NZD none of which was sourced at a bank or ATM I don't know how that could be improved. I suppose you really take insurance for the big one.

All done online. Was very quick to apply and did not have excessive questions. Easy to understand what our policy was entitled too.

My friends, family and I have used 1Cover many times, always easy to set up. Claim process very efficient and those of us that have had to claim have had no problems at all. Great value, always less than other providers.

Over 80 insurance becomes expensive but 1 Cover no worse than others

When we travel frankly we do not ever think we will be making a claim especially for an illness event. This all changed for me on September 29th when I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The response from the claims team and general contact staff had been superb. I was admitted to a hospital here in the Greek islands obviously suffering from serious financial cutbacks. The staff were great the facility’s “dire”. I can not recommend 1Cover enough to anyone planning a trip anytime soon.
