Having this policy gave me peace of mind knowing that if required that I was covered. Thank goodness that I didn't need to make a claim. I travel extensively abroad, and will be using 1Covers service for future travels

Very disappointed in the lack of help during my travel predicament. The one time I’ve needed to utilise my travel insurance...

I regret that we provided you with a poor customer experience, it is the exact opposite of what we pride ourselves on. We don’t like to see customers upset and inconvenienced. If you wish to pursue a claim I certainly recommend that you get in touch, you can submit a claim online and upload any supporting documents alternatively you can send your details to me, with the subject 'Attn: Sophie, Compare Review' to info@1cover.co.nz

Now let's be honest, who doesn't have a sore back or previously seen a doctor for something chronic which is not completely curable? If you declare "no previous medical history" the chances are your insurance will not be valid by the time you have to claim it. 1Cover however look after that for you - it covers most common (everyday) chronic problem, and even for something slightly less common, as long as your condition is stable they will cover it with a small surcharge. I have a stable but slightly more problematic chronic condition which requires specialist review every 6 months, but because the condition is stable, they cover it. It's a great peace of mind, even just hopping across Tasmin to Australia!

Claim was delayed due to not being given correct information of what was need to process completely, otherwise very happy.

Another holiday overseas since Hawaii & took out insurance with A1 again & will continue to so so in the future
Cheapest & easiest application 👍

I have used 1 Cover since 2012 when I did a big trip to the USA. I have traveled every 18 months since and 1 Cover is my first choice for travel insurance. You can get an online quote (good rates) and order online too. It is so easy and hassle free. I have not had to make a claim so cannot comment there.

Have used 1cover for many years now and have not had any issues with them. Even when our trip was cancelled due to storm a couple of years ago. They paid me back within a few days

We've insured ourselves with 1Cover several times now. Before committing, I always do research as to cover provided vs cost, & find 1Cover to be the best value for money travel insurance available in NZ. I will certainly use them again.

Havent been overseas in years so was unsure of the process. Found 1Cover to be very quick and easy on line and great value for money

We cannot go on holiday without insurance and this must must be a good company because it is always our first port of call. We won't leave home without it

On two different trips this year we have had to make claims on our travel insurance. 1Cover have been absolutely awesome, excellent customer service, prompt replies and no issues with the claims being accepted. Money in our account within 5 days. Definitely the best travel insurance we have ever had and at a reasonable price. Can't recommend them enough
